race against rain

In latest edition of race against rain, the gist of the story is I got my ass handed to me on 10th street less than mile  away from work.  I will be getting a ride back from someone as I have no dry clothes left.

Me too. My office clothes were totally soaked.
Fortunately, I a dry set to change into at work. Not only that, but the clothes paired up well together, saving me from looking like a clown. At least anymore than I normally do.

i should say i have no dry riding clothes left. Chrome bag to the rescue

  3. Scott says:

I left the house at 6am. No rain then. Hopefully the streets will be dry enough for the ride home. No fenders (yet).

I have used the hand dryers to dry out my riding clothes before, but sometimes I will pack an extra set.

Like Brady, I’ve got some extra office clothes in my desk, but they are worn and tattered, and oversized since I’ve lost some weight over the past year.

I’m downtown, with a car and rack space for 3 bikes, if anyone needs a ride. I’ll be leaving at 4:30 or 5:00 or so.
