gravel and foccus

Saturday I met up with Munson crew, Brady and Vaughn to get some miles in at sweet loess hills  of Iowa.  The weather was set to be perfect not often you can ride out from you house without  knew warmers or toe covers in November. After some deliberations and litany of excuses :D   Brady decided to abandon Vaughn and I. We made gravel grinding a two man mission.    The loess hills are really steep but we managed to get some good 50 plus miles in, we even rode by two pheasants and a little wine tasting party close to Glenwood. It was great time Vaughn and I had some cokes at the wabash trace gas station good times…. More to come this fall/winter.   That could of happened but I could of totally made this shit up as there is no photographic evidence of the trip.

Sunday Megan and I went to take our Foccus test to start our Catholic marathon wedding preparations, the thing was in Gretna  in big church named after the saint of Ireland.  It was weird juxtapose of many people mostly from west Omaha who you would not normally meet if it wasn’t for the fact you had to take the test. The lady administering the test was not very nice but what are you going to do :D I saw girl from high school who is getting married as well I hope she did well on the test. Cranks-giving is next  Saturday who wants to ride there?
